- If you’re holding a winning Arizona lottery ticket worth $14.6 million, we have some bad news for you. You missed the deadline to turn it in.
The winner of the June 5th drawing had 180 days to redeem the ticket and that deadline came and went yesterday at 5 p.m. with no one coming forward. It’s the state’s largest unclaimed lottery prize and the money now goes back into other lottery games and to also fund several state programs. (NBC News)
Hot Takes:
- It’s sickening to think that someone just missed out on collecting $14 million.
- Someone probably bought the ticket and just forgot about it. Or maybe they checked the wrong numbers.
- It would be devastating if someone found the ticket today.
