McDonald’s is taking steps to curb the coronavirus by closing down all dining and play areas at its restaurants across the country, effective today.
The fast-food giant says it will continue serving customers via drive-thrus and delivery services. The decision comes as many cities and states have ordered restaurants and bars to close. Other fast-food chains including Starbucks have already closed off dining areas, and more are expected to follow suit. (NY Post)
Hot Takes:
- Most people go to the drive-thru anyway, so this shouldn’t be too different.
- As people are urged to stay home, every business is taking a huge hit.
- I guess I better stock up on burgers and fries just in case McDonald’s completely closes down.
